Delete Your Account

You can delete your MarV Route account and everything stored with it at any time — from inside the app, or by writing to us. This page covers both routes and exactly what is removed.

⚠️ Deletion is permanent

Deleting your account erases your cloud backup and the app data on your device. There is no recovery and no waiting period — once you confirm, the data is gone. If you want to keep a copy, export a backup from the Profile tab first.

1. Delete from inside the app

The fastest route, and it takes effect immediately:

  1. Open MarV Route and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and open the Privacy & Data section.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm with Delete permanently.

You need to be signed in. If you use MarV Route without an account, nothing is stored in the cloud at all — uninstalling the app removes all of your data.

2. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, write to us from the address your account is registered with:

Use the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request comes from the registered address and complete the deletion within 30 days — usually much sooner.

4. Data on other devices

Deleting your account removes the cloud copy and the data on the device you deleted from. If MarV Route is also installed on another phone, that phone still holds its own local copy — uninstall the app there, or delete the account from that device too.

5. What we keep

Nothing. We do not retain account data after deletion, and we never sell or share it with third parties. Detailed GPS route traces are never uploaded to the cloud in the first place — they stay on your device and go away with it.
